Wild species that are actually or potentially useful to people are called wildlife resources. They are potentially renewable resources, if not driven to extinction or near extinction by our activities.Wild species perform vital ecosystem services for us and other species.

On the other hand, limestone habitats are often hard to access, and they have usually unusual and unfamiliar species, therefore biodiversity in limestone areas is often harder to detect and study than in some other areas.
The objective of the present proposal is to investigate the impact of Quarrying activities on Biodiversity of "Tora Portland (Clay) Quarry Habitats "and to propose some rehabilitation measures to restore these important ecosystems
