When we arrived at the north-eastern entrance of the former quarry, we had a snack on the lawn, where, in the meantime, the volunteers had set up a buffet. Once refreshed, Elisa, Giacomo, Cesare and Nunzio described the CUORE project in full detail. Elisa then announced the photo competition and we all filled in the leaves of the tree of emotions, including the Local Police officers who had accompanied us. In addition, we cast our votes to decide the best name for the area, choosing from the options that the students of the Ambiente Parco after-school programme had come up with.
We were told that the detailed naturalistic overview would be part of the morning excursion on May 29th and the night excursion that would be organised in June.
Arrivati nell’ingresso nord est della ex cava abbiamo fatto merenda nel prato dove i volontari, nel frattempo, avevano allestito un buffet. Una volta rifocillati, Elisa, Giacomo, Cesare e Nunzio ci hanno decritto nel dettaglio il progetto CUORE. Elisa ha annunciato il concorso fotografico; abbiamo compilato tutti, compresi gli agenti della Polizia Locale che ci hanno scortato, le foglie per l’albero delle emozioni riportando un’emozione individuale sull’albero di CUORE. Infine, abbiamo votato i nomi proposti dagli studenti del doposcuola di AmbienteParco da dare all’area. Ci è stato spiegato che l’inquadramento naturalistico di dettaglio sarà presentato nella escursione del 29 maggio e nella escursione notturna.
